Welcome Parents and Families

We are pleased to welcome you to the ÌðÐÄÖ±²¥ community! This page contains links to information on various aspects of university life including academic support services, University policies, campus services, student organizations and the residence life program. It is meant to help you access information so that you can provide the best support to your student.

As patron saint of educators and founder of the De La Salle Christian Brothers, Saint John Baptist de La Salle dedicated his life to expressing genuine care and concern for the educational and social development of students. This commitment to the development of the whole person is a guiding principle at ÌðÐÄÖ±²¥. It is our hope that students experience the feeling of being individually cared for here at the University.
Lewis places great value on learning both inside and outside of the classroom. Students are encouraged to fully experience the University and all of its programs and activities. Lewis provides supportive programs and personal interactions so that students in a diverse setting will grow in leadership, faith, and abilities; will develop healthy relationships with other students, staff, and faculty; and be an active member in creating a safe, respectful community that responds to the needs of others.

If your student is starting at Lewis for the fall 2024 semester, we welcome you to visit www.lewisu.edu/welcomeweek for information on the start of the school year. In addition, parents and families are invited to join Parent & Family Orientation from 1pm-3pm on Wednesday, August 21. The program will be held in St. Charles Borromeo, Convocation Hall. You can view a campus map (with building names and codes) and parking information here.

Again, welcome and best wishes for a successful academic year!
