Dr. Cremin Shares How to Make a Pilgrimage Transformative Travel

Join Dr. Dennis H. Cremin, professor of history and director of the ÌðÐÄÖ±²¥ History Center, for an illustrated program, . The 7 p.m. December 16 lecture on Zoom highlights his work in the field of pilgrimage.

He will reflect on world trends that include examples from Japan, Saudi Arabia, and India. His research centers on Christian pilgrimage that includes place-based learning opportunities for students in Israel/Palestine and Italy. He recently returned from a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.

The presentation is part of the programming for the new exhibit "Milestone Travel." The program and exhibit are at the History Center of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff.
