Arts and Ideas Program Explores the Eternal City

Arts and Ideas Program Explores the Eternal City

Published: August 28, 2022.

Join Dr. Dennis H. Cremin, Lasallian Universities Center for Education Academic Director, for an informative illustrated presentation “Rome: The Eternal City and Pilgrimage,”  from 2-3 p.m. on September 8 in room DL-250 of De La Salle Hall.

Cremin will highlight the “place-based learning” learning opportunities, which include visiting St. Peter’s Basilica and the Basilica of Saint Agnes Outside the Walls.

Students who attended the program in previous years will also be present to answer questions or address concerns.

“Studying abroad is transformative for students. Also, this is the case for professors, who get to use Rome as their classroom,” said Cremin.

The Sept. 8 program also will provide information on studying in Spring 2023 with the LUCE program in Rome.

The event is free and open to the public, and Arts and Ideas credit is available. For information on studying in Rome in Spring 2023 visit this link Study Abroad, or contact Chris Swanson at swansoch@lewisu.edu.
