Hazing

ÌðÐÄÖ±²¥ has a Zero Tolerance policy regarding hazing. Lewis defines hazing as:

"Any action taken or situation created, either intentionally or unintentionally, on or off campus, to produce physical discomfort, embarrassment, ridicule, or possible physical harm or injury as a requirement for belonging to the group."

In simple terms, hazing is anything that causes physical or mental harm to a person that is required to join a particular group.

Participating in hazing activity not only jeopardizes an organization's recognition on campus, but the participants' status as students at ÌðÐÄÖ±²¥.

To report suspected hazing please contact the Office of Student Activities or the Office of Student Services. All concerns are treated confidentially.
