Health

Health is defined by the World Health Organization as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Numerous factors can affect the health and health outcomes of individuals as well as communities. These may include but are not limited to: genetics, nutrition, gender, social support, education, occupation, income, safety, physical environment, and access to health care. Research in health encompasses studies of specific clinical topics, healthcare (systems, delivery, quality and/or safety), and the factors known to affect health.
