Come Clean, Go Green

Competition Rules & Regulations

The Come Clean, Go Green competition is a program dedicated to making Lewis a more sustainable campus with ideas from Lewis Students across all disciplines. The program is sponsored by the ÌðÐÄÖ±²¥ Sustainability Council and supported by, the sustainability fee, which was approved last year. The fee will fund the implementation of sustainability projects on campus that are chosen by students. Competition Rules

A proposal should be a 3-5 page plan that includes the following sections:

  • Cover page
  • Table of contents
  • Introduction and explanation of need on campus
  • Plan or timeline of implementation
  • Explanation of how the project will sustain itself
  • Costs associated with project
  • List of sources used to develop the plan

This can be an individual or team effort. All proposals must include a Lewis Faculty or Staff advisor.

Judging

The proposals will be vetted by administrators, faculty and staff members on the ÌðÐÄÖ±²¥ Sustainability Council. Once vetted, students will vote on projects at voting booths across campus in the weeks prior to Earth Week. The winner and runner-up will be announced during Earth Week.

Dates

Proposals are due by 4/4/2022 and should be submitted online using the “Submissions” tab on the lewisu.edu/sustainability page.
